Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 2026

The Business Hub is committed to making our website and learning content accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our Commitment

The Business Hub is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, The Business Hub takes the following measures: We use semantic HTML to ensure content is structured logically for screen readers; We provide text alternatives for non-text content, including images; We ensure sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds; We design interactive elements to be keyboard navigable; We use clear, plain English throughout our website and course materials; We test our website with assistive technologies during development.

Known Limitations

While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, some areas of our website and course content may not yet fully meet these guidelines. Known limitations include: Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers — we are working to remediate these; Some third-party embedded content (such as video players) may have limited accessibility features. We are actively working to address these issues and welcome feedback to help us prioritise improvements.

Assistive Technology Support

Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies: Screen readers (including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver); Keyboard-only navigation; Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality; High contrast display modes. If you experience difficulties using our website with assistive technology, please contact us and we will do our best to provide the information you need in an alternative format.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website and learning content. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us: Email: accessibility@thebusinesshub.co.uk. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
